"Emotive" is a limited edition series of abstract artwork created by painter Amanda Heath. Her contemporary abstract work is inspired by energy, expression, freedom and emotion.
"I love creating artwork that evokes a certain feeling, mood or ambience in a room, from calm and tranquil to uplifting and invigorating. Art can totally transform how we feel in a space, how productive we are, how we interact and respond.
I’m fascinated by colour; intrigued by how a simple line or form can elude to a feeling; and how drips, pours, washes and bleeds made with the paint can evoke different emotional responses. My work seeks to find a balance between loose expression and technical rigour."
