Kaniez Abdi specialises in creating highly individual textiles using embroidery and digital printing techniques. Kaniez uses photography, taking pictures of nature and everyday happening, to develop ideas. Through the use of computer manipulation, she changes the original image size, colour and abstracting the image, making her work bold and graphic. A range of designs printed onto a canvas and stretched over a chunky box frame.
